In answer to many request that we get at The White House B&B, I will sending out the recipes on my blog it will be faster
I will send the breakfast recipes that we serve and also the dinner recipes that we serve in the fall and spring. The recipes that I post, will be because of requests, if you have interest in any other I may have just contact me. Enjoy.
WHITE HOUSE BAKED OATMAEL
3 - cups oatmeal (old fashioned rolled oats, not “quick”)
¾ - cups brown sugar
½ - cup butter
2 - eggs
2 - cups milk
2 - teaspoons baking powder
1 - teaspoon salt
¼ - teaspoon cinnamon
1 - can any flavor pie filling (optional)
dried fruits and/or nuts (optional)
Mix all ingredients together and pour into a buttered 9x13 inch pan. May also be baked in individual serving sized ramekins.
Note: may be mixed up the night before and then baked off the next morning; stir before transferring to baking containers.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
